My super students are full of potential, energy, and eagerness to learn using technology on a daily basis. They are not tomorrow's technology leaders, but today's.
My students are proving themselves as proactive learners and caring classmates who help one another to purposefully apply technology across the curriculum.
More than 90% of my students are considered At Risk English Learners, qualify for free lunch, and the majority face great financial difficulties at home. Nevertheless, their passion for learning overcomes any difficulty they might face at home.
I want my students to be able to work simultaneously on web-based platforms such as Google Classroom, to utilize different apps during instruction and to be able to research and innovate using technology.
In order to accomplish that vision, each of my students needs a headphones set to collaborate with the rest of the class in real time but without interrupting their classmates, and a mouse to take better care of the electronic devices that we got with a lot of hard work.
Students are eager to use different programs but the noise level hinders the full potential of such programs. With the headphones and a mouse, students possibilities will increase exponentially.
