My Students

My students are a one of a kind! They are smart, funny, thoughtful, and eager to learn every morning when I walk in the door. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions. They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world. My class deserves the best!

My Project

Technology is everywhere--it is in almost every part of our culture. It affects how we live, work, play, and most importantly learn. Integrating technology into the classroom is an effective way to connect with students of all learning styles. Integrating technology in education helps students stay engaged. Most students today have been using mobile devices like tablets and smartphones to play and learn since they were little. It only seems logical to align today's classrooms with the way that my students want and are used to learning. Technology transforms the learning experience. Students have access to an incredible amount of new opportunities.
