Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are smart and eager learners. When I present real-life adventures through reading, hands-on learning, and personal life experiences, my students are immediately ready to listen, question, and learn. My students live in a low income area that includes a diverse population and a high English Language Learner population.
The ability to have ample access to technology is vital to student success!
School budgets are based on student enrollment, not student need. Administrators must purchase their own technology through District required measures that make it nearly impossible to provide working and current technology opportunities.
My Project
My students need computers to access learning tools so they can flourish and aspire. These computers will engage and reach learners in ways we could have only dreamed of in years past. There are so many learning tools that analyze and meet each learners needs while providing them ample growth opportunities. These same tools help teachers inform their instruction to make it purposeful for each learner.
Every student deserves an equal playing field to aspire in today's competitive world.
These computers are a passport not only to promoting learning the basics conceptual skills in school but will lead them on learning adventures they might otherwise never experience.
Students are natural explorers that need a passport for their trip!
