Technology Isn't the Future, It's the Present!
My students need two Chromebooks to be prepared for the 21st century.
Most of my students come from families of low socioeconomic status. We are a Title I school and our access to technology on a daily basis is limited. Our school is a caring community of continuous learners, both teachers and students alike. We can see the benefit of collaborative student project based learning in the classroom.
The students in my class love to work with hands-on materials and are always curious about the world around them and beyond.
The best way for them to learn more about the world beyond our school is through technology.
Our students don't want to be left behind just because of their socioeconomic status. With technology available at the fingertips in the classroom on a daily basis, their ever-growing minds will be able to explore and forge ahead successfully into the future!
I want every student in my classroom to have the ability to use technology every single day.
They will be able to learn to use the technology independently for educational purposes, and to have fun while learning! By exposing them to technology at an early age, we can ensure their success in the later grade levels when they are expected to use it for higher level thinking.
