This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
A typical day in my class involves very little hands on technology because my school can not afford it.
My students are very sweet and needy children.
They come from a low income community, mostly in poverty. My students want to learn and I tell them every day that they can. They try hard, but our school can't afford to buy what is necessary for my students to compete with the real world.
My Project
My students will be able to do so much with six mini iPads with cases. These resources will benefit my students in many ways. The classroom mini ipads will be used as a center. They will be used at a students' desk when reviewing reading and math skills previously taught. The iPad cases will help protect them for long time use. The equipment will play an important part of improving students' education and technology skills.
I am preparing my Kindergartners to succeed in life.
They must be prepared and be able to compete with their peers. Students must become comfortable with iPads. Most of my students do not have these resources at home, so I want to provide them with whatever I can at school. Your support is greatly needed and appreciated.
