My Students

My students come from diverse backgrounds and need resources to investigate and explore the world around them. They are excited and motivated to learn new concepts.

My students speak a variety of languages, and to promote language development I provide hands-on, real-world learning experiences.

Providing these authentic learning experiences builds student knowledge and improves language proficiency through engaging learning experiences. My students need these engaging resources to be successful in the classroom which will create a passion for lifelong learning.

My Project

iPad will provide my students with opportunities daily to navigate technology while integrating a variety of subject areas such as reading, math and science. My students will be able to read electronic books at their own level. These tablets will allow my students to practice phonics skills with immediate feedback on their performance which will build a strong phonetic foundation for beginning readers. They will be able to use math apps that are tailored to meet the needs of each student in my class which will dramatically increase their learning. Tablets will also provide a platform for my students to use technology to create projects and learn coding.
