My students need an ipad to integrate technology into evey center of our classroom. They will also need a sturdy case because they are preschoolers!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Do you remember the first time you were able to see a picture or video of something you were proud of? Every time you looked at it or watched it, it brought you so much joy! This is what I want for my students.
The 40 students I teach in both of my pre-k classes are at-risk.
They are the students who need the most support from a quality education. They are all very curious three to five-year-old children and every time I bring my camera to school, they want me to take pictures. I would love for them to be able to take their own pictures, but we do not have a classroom camera and my personal camera is very big and not "preschool proof." With the case I am asking for, the iPad will be preschool proof for them to take all over the classroom, taking videos and pictures of anything they want to.
My Project
The portability of an iPad is what makes it such a good option for my classroom. We do centers and this is an item that can rotate centers each day, just like the children do. There are scholastic eBook apps that can be utilized in the book center, literacy apps that can be used in the writing center, and the list goes on and on! There is also an app that ties into the teaching strategies curriculum that I use to assess the students. I can use that app to upload the pictures and videos that the children take into their online portfolios. The possibilities are endless!
This iPad will help my students be more confident and independent learners and give them the opportunity to use technology that they do not have access to at home.
The case will keep the iPad safe so that students have the opportunity to use it independently- without the worry of getting damaged!
