The student population at our school is diverse. The school campus was opened in the fall of 2013 in our school district. The curriculum is aligned with each child's developmental level to allow students to feel successful regardless of academic level. Children who feel good about their progress are motivated and inspired to learn more.
We have built an educational environment where developing student achievement, building innovative programs, and engaging families and communities provide a common vision for lifelong learning and student success.
My Project
These Chromebooks and Apple computers will change the way our students learn foreign language. Students can work individually, with a partner, or in groups to find an activity that fits their level of learning.
Students can access online learning activities to get them excited about learning a new language.
They can also make and edit videos with iMovies.
The computers will help students improve their speaking skills is a second language allowing them to practice 21st century skills. Video production, research, and communication of information in a movie format will engage students, optimizing their learning experience.
My students need computers for individualized instruction. They will also use them to access all the Spanish resources available online. Technology will support our teachers in a way that will allow them to enhance their curriculum.
