My students need two iPad minis to be able to integrate technology and hands on learning in our classroom.
This project expired on October 31, 2013.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students live in a time of technology, but in a Title 1 area, they do not grow up with the exposure to technology that most students have. I want my students to be able to use technology in a way that enhances and encourages their learning in the classroom.
We are a 3rd grade classroom in Florida in a low socioeconomic area.
My students are energetic and so ready to learn, this addition to our class will give them the same exposure to technology that most students receive in higher economic areas of our state and country.
We are asking for two iPad Mini's for our classroom. These iPads will be used for Reading, Science, Math and video/picture journaling. Students will be able to use the iPads not only for their obvious uses with educational "apps" but also to make video journals to express their own understanding and creativity.
Any donation to this project would mean giving to the enhancement of my student's abilities in the classroom and real world lessons.
I encourage everyone to donate in this great area of need!
