Help me give my students the opportunity to learn from presentations that can contain quizzes, polls, videos, images, drawing boards, web content and so on with Nearpod. I can also access over 7,000 K12 standards-aligned lessons.”

I teach at a Title I school with a high poverty rate. All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. My classroom is a self-contained setting with grades K-6. All of my students attend lunch and participate in activity classes with their grade-level peers. My paraprofessionals and I work with the students individually on academic and daily living skills. My students are loving and learn at their own individual paces.
Nearpod will help to also enhance my students learning at home. Chromebooks are sent home with the students during times in which the school has had to pivote to virtual learning during the pandemic. The donations to this project will help improve student achievement in all academic areas including math, writing, reading, science, and social studies. Students will be able to choose lessons they are working on. Having the use of Nearpod, my students will be able to streamline their learning through module-based instruction that includes virtual field trips, videos, reading materials, polls, questions, and collaboration. Students are able to self-pace or interact with the class during a teacher led Nearpod lesson.
