This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am currently teaching at a wonderful school. We are a tight knit diverse community. Even with all the challenges from the last couple of years my students come to school every day with a great attitude. I am very impressed by their resilience, and hard work. This is why I think that having access to technology in the classroom is the most important thing I can do for them.

Although my students come from different backgrounds, speak different languages, or have completely different personalities from each other we come together in school.

We work together, we laugh together, and we get through hard times together.

My Project

These materials will be used for various purposes all focused on using more technology in the classroom. With this grant I will be purchasing some headphones which will help us utilize our computers better. I will also be purchasing digital timers, rechargeable batteries and a classroom speaker.

All of the materials purchased will make it easier for my class to use technology on a daily basis.

We will live in a technology driven world, which is why it is important for my students to have more technology exposure in their day to day.
