Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are very energetic. They love to explore and learn new things. Their desire to share information is great. Therefore, working in groups makes learning very interesting. They like to engage in hands-on activities and help each other.
Twenty-eight explorers, creative and energetic students, are part of my classroom team.
Of those 28, 16 are English Language Learners and two receive special education services. The remaining are general education students. They all work together and learn the same standards through different strategies.
My Project
My students are in need of classroom tablets to use programs such as Zearn, Study Island, and Learning AtoZ. These programs help them study and review for Math, Reading, Science, Social Studies and Writing standards. Our 3rd grade students take the AZM2 state test and are required to pass the Reading portion of it in order to move on to 4th grade. These students need as much practice as they can get online since their test is online.
Familiarizing them with the online format helps them feel comfortable when testing time comes in April.
Please help me get these 6 tablets and help my students practice online.
