My Students

My students are part of a unique program to help students excel. I provide language arts and social studies instruction, and after lunch they switch classes for math and science. These students are part of an enrichment program to help them achieve academic success.

Our school serves K-6 students with a well-rounded education, which includes academics, music, art, technology, and physical education.

The staff is committed to meeting the needs of every child, and helping them to achieve success. In striving to meet these needs, parents are very generous and are an active part of our school. This generosity helps to provide many supplies and endeavors. Unfortunately, due to state budget cuts, there are still desired supplies, yet to be funded.

My Project

My students will have access to laptops that convert into tablets, and they also have a touchscreen and a pen. They will be learning to use all of these different types of tools. Our school has been trying to teach students and expose them to different ways to use media. My students will have access to technology and media at all times. They will be able to create presentations using PowerPoint and Sway. The students will be developing skills for the future work place. These skills will help them further their education and help them to be successful in a technology driven world.
