Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have a Kindergarten class of 25 students of all different cultures building a relationship while learning a foreign language. They are ready to be bilingual and are driven by their hunger to learn Spanish. These are kindhearted kids with passionate hearts, looking forward to become bilingual students. They get along with each other so well and relate to each other by their longing to learn Spanish.
These students love getting together as a group and discussing everything that they have learned.
Their friendships with each other are unbreakable; they have a bond that other classes wish to have. I would love to give these students the best learning experience possible, as they come from low-income households and don't have much to be able to experience Spanish at their homes. They all deserve the best education possible.
My Project
The materials that I'm suggesting for my students could be very beneficial to their education. The Osmo Genius Kits are accelerated educational game systems designed for iPads. This keeps students engaged in learning and challenges their hands-on play. Over 15,000 schools are using the Osmo kits for their student's everyday learning. There are many game systems that challenge vocabulary, critical thinking, nonverbal reasoning, and fine motor skills. It's also customizable for your own classroom, which comes in handy for vocabulary, and spelling words. It also helps your students become familiar with shapes, colors, puzzles, languages, art and so much more! In conclusion, there are many benefits to having the Osmo Kits for the students.
My students love having fun while learning, it makes them a lot more comfortable and confident in their own skills.
The educational benefits are endless. I believe that making learning fun and comfortable for them boosts confidence, memory, and productivity. By donating to our project, my students would receive 3 different educational Osmo kits. Help me give my students the gift of fun and comfortable learning!
