My Students

My students come from homes where technology is often not available. They are required to take most of their assessments, state standardized testing, and complete common core required research via technology. Offering an additional opportunity for diverse technology in my classroom is essential.

My students are eager to learn and love to research, they just need the tools to get them there.

They come from a diverse city with a vast collection of social backgrounds. They all come with one purpose, to learn. I'm looking for the materials to provide an equal opportunity for technology and the world it opens up for us.

My Project

Students will use the tablets for assessments, test prep, PARCC prep, IB research, interactive and manipulative center work. I want to make learning fun and exciting, technology opens up that opportunity. My students are an eager bunch to learn and yearn to research many topics but the supplies are not available for all of them.

Many of my students come from homes where technology is not available.

This project could offer a diverse setting of both available desktops and now tablet use. The students would have hands-on experience learning how to use technology in the classroom, and how we can apply it to our IB and common core standards.
