This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are fearless when it comes to technology and, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to compete in today's educational society. In class we incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met. My class uses the inclusion model. I teach at a Title I school in a high poverty area.

My students come to school each day ready to try new things and take chances in order to grow both personally and academically.

Giving the tools to be successful is my goal.

My Project

My goal is to give all students a chance to learn in class without so many distractions. The headphones will allow students to control the volume while they watch videos, use the headphones to block out other noises and continue to gain knowledge without other distractions. This will enhance the environment in the classroom by allowing students to listen, learn, review, and repeat as much as needed and at their own pace.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

This project will allow students to be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not be distracted by other things. It also allows my students that require extra assistance in reading Science articles a chance to have information read to them at their own pace.
