My students need a new iPad and protective case to use during our small groups, reading centers, and math centers.

My Students

My students are from rural Oklahoma. They are outgoing and loving. They enjoy getting up to dance or move around the classroom. They greet me each morning with a handshake and a hug. They are so eager to learn and work so hard.

Our class is excited about learning and because of them, I look forward to coming to work each day.

They are creative and love hands-on activities and anything involving technology.

My class gets excited about the little things in life and I love that!

My Project

My students are continuously eager to get their hands on the few pieces of technology we have in our classroom. Students no longer learn best from paper and pencil.

I would love to enhance their learning experience by incorporating more technology into our daily lessons and activities.

The use of an iPad will allow the students to use the technology while being in centers and small groups.

Also, using an iPad is much easier developmentally for a first grade student that using a desktop or laptop computer. The use of technology grasps a student's interest, enabling him/her to want to learn more!
