My Students
I have a class of individuals. Each student is different and that's what makes them special. I have students from many different backgrounds. Some come from loving and caring families, while others don't know if anyone will be there when they get home. But the one thing they have in common is that they get to come together and be taught and loved by their teacher. They are ready to learn, and they're happy to be here together in our classroom community!
My Project
I love using technology in my classroom. There are so many activities, apps, websites, etc. that can help deepen my teaching and give the students another way of learning. Every day during Literature instruction my students will get onto a website called Lexia, this is a reading intervention website that will help all my students to be able to hit our reading benchmark this year. The students will also be using another website called Nearpod. This is where my students will be able to learn all subjects through a more interactive approach.
Technology is becoming a necessity in the classroom.
My students will be able to do many different activities with the iPads, and they will be able to access new information. Learning in the classroom will be engaging and increasing.
