I want my students to experience everything they can in our third grade classroom. We already create projects and integrate technology as much as we can. With these extras in our classroom, the sky is the limit.
Students at Linden Elementary are not ordinary kids.
They are students who are used to their classrooms integrating cutting edge research into activities and lessons. Our students are skilled with computers and many programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and complete many projects throughout the school year.
My Project
My students will use the digital camera to add visuals to their classroom "Be an Author" projects, to keep a visual yearbook of activities through the year, and to complete other classroom projects (newspaper, commercials, etc.). The iPods will be used to record author projects (fluency practice), to download different styles of music, and many other great ideas. The iPods will be placed in a listening center in the classroom.
In order to keep my students familiar with the newest and most updated technology, they need to participate in hands on activities with technology.
These materials will be used by my students regularly. They will become technology experts!
