Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Welcome to our Donors Choose. As a special education teacher, I teach a wide variety of learners ranging in age and learning abilities. When teaching students with disabilities it is important to know and understand the needs of all students in the classroom. My students have different types of struggles due to their disabilities. In my classroom, I have a wide variety of students whose disabilities include LD, ASD, ADD, and ADHD. Since learning for them is a challenge, my students attend a resource classroom. The smaller resource classroom setting is extremely beneficial for them and their learning.
All students should have the opportunity to learn and be successful.
Successful students call for a more well-rounded and intellectual society. As a teacher it is important that we take care of our students for them to thrive in their future. But with the help of your donation to our classroom, you too will also be able to contribute to their education and their future success! My Project
In today’s society, the use of technology is rapidly becoming an important and vital part of our lives. The Chromebook requested for this project will be of great help to the education of my students. All the students in my class require academic support outside of the general education classroom. These Chromebooks will allow me the ability to differentiate the needs of each of my students. It will also expose them to the use of interactive technology and how to properly use it for educational purposes.
Due to the population of low income families in our school, most of my students don’t have access to technology at home or no internet connection.
Providing this available resource in our classroom will provide an infinite amount of educational opportunities for my students. Thanks to these wonderful Chromebooks, students will be able to complete all of their daily assignment requirements like I-ready, Reflex Math, and My On.
