Our school is part of Atlanta Public Schools. I teach Math and Science to two sets of amazing fourth graders. We serve a diverse group of students, some with technology at home and others without access.
My students love using technology to engage in an exploration of Math and Science.
They are inquisitive and ready to learn. We focus on setting high goals and meeting them.
Our goal is to be as digital as possible this year as a way to be more environmentally friendly.
We want to be a more green school and eliminate the need for hundreds of copies by teaching students how to use Google Classroom and other online resources. This will better prepare students for college and career.
My goal is to bring my classroom into the twenty-first century by going digital.
There are so many amazing resources available online that make learning more engaging to students. While a number of schools in our district have a computer for every student, we are currently sharing a cart with four other classrooms. We need help getting more Chromebooks into the hands of our students.
