My Students

My students are incredibly wonderful 11, 12 and 13 year olds. They are driven students who work hard every day. Students at our school endeavor to do well. They are proud of their academic achievements. We have developed a culture that appreciates and applauds intelligence and determination.

Many of my students travel long distances (some take an hour city bus ride) each day in order to attend our school.

Their parents make sacrifices to get them to school. Over 30% of our population receives free lunch.

My Project

Technology will play a huge part in my students' futures. In order to fully prepare them, I need to be able to provide daily access to a computer. I have worked hard this year to develop my technology skills and would like to share my newfound knowledge by using Google Classroom and all the Gsuite has to offer.

My students have recently read several texts including Al Gore's Nobel Speech about humanity's effect on the environment.

They have become passionate about saving our planet for future generations. The Chromebook would provide them with easy access to research as well as an excellent platform for disseminating their newfound knowledge.
