This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My preschoolers arrive each day with ambitious attitudes and eager minds. My district and school has a large population of poverty, and those difficulties of life can be a great challenge to children. Even with all my students are faced with, they excel in the classroom.

My students make my job rewarding and satisfying, because they never miss an opportunity for learning, sharing, or caring.

I want my students to become successful 21st century leaders, and I believe being exposed to the right technological tools can help them become just that! Teaching in Baton Rouge is a great experience.

My Project

With technology tools my students would be able to blossom into 21st century learners. They would be able to use these tools and become proficient at making books and creating beautiful brochures and presentations. I look forward to teaching them how to create documents that can include charts, graphs, and illustrations on the computer. Being able to print their work would increase its value and the opportunities for sharing their creations with friends, family, and the world. It brings me joy to think that my students will be ready for our developing world when they leave my class!

Donations to my technology project will give my classroom and students an edge in the world.

Every child needs to be proficient in technology in these times. Times aren't changing. Times have changed. In response to those times, every students should have access to state of the art technology of the 21st century.
