I have the privilege to teach every student in the school. They come to music class in a rotation every 3 days. I get to see students from Kindergarten to 5th grade. They are wonderful students with great excitement for music. These students have great persistence and drive and it is a great honor to be their teacher.
We are a charter school and we have students from all ages, backgrounds, diversity, and learning styles.
It is a wonderful learning community with great kids.
My Project
Currently in my classroom we are using an affordable speaker that I purchased with my own personal money. Unfortunately, the speaker is not very loud. During listening examples and movement activities it can be very difficult for all students to hear the music. This requested bluetooth speaker will make such a difference in the quality of the sound I am providing my students with.
I only see students once every 3 days for just 45 minutes and utilizing every second is vital for me to be able to give them the education they deserve.
The clicker will help students by citing out the transition time it takes to run back to the back of the classroom and flip slides during lessons.
The CD case I am requesting will make my listening stations so much more organized and accessible to the children in my room.
