What was life like before all this technology? Scribes had to sit for days copying books for others to read. We shouldn't have to do that. Our class needs a copier / scanner / printer to take care of some of our classroom needs with technology.
These students are young adolescents from all over the Valley and Los Angeles areas; very diverse, very motivated to learn, ambitious to use the most recent technology.
We have antiquated copiers that don't work all the time, don't have ink cartridges, or maintenance agreements.
My Project
Having a new printer / copier / scanner in our room will make our lives so much more efficient. We can do the printing we need for our projects, we can scan documents to add to our presentations, and we should be able to print our work to a printer within walking distance of our room!
Students need the most up-to-date technology with which to gain the skills they need when they enter the work force.
Our old printer is quite ancient and is not always in working order. This project request is just for the copier / scanner / printer, along with a few ink cartridge replacements so that we don't have to run out of ink in the middle of projects.
