My Students

I have some incredible, fun-loving teens in my classroom. My students break stereotypes daily and continuously strive to meet the high expectations I have for each one of them. All of my students work so hard every day and the amount of growth that I see in each one from year to year is outstanding! Each of my students has “special abilities” and I enjoy the daily challenge of meeting their unique needs and helping those abilities shine as bright as they are!

My Project

I have used iPads successfully in the Special Education classroom for many years! With that being said, my current technology is now so outdated (12 plus years) that the software will not update and my students can not access the latest and greatest apps the education community has to offer.

Due to the lack of fine motor skills with some of my students, they are not able to navigate a chrome book or other desktop computers.

With new classroom iPads, I will be able to provide them with technology that will help me meet their needs as well as educate them through fun activities/apps that are up to date and relevant!
