My Students

Students learn more when we let them choose what they would like to read AND let them talk about what they are reading.

My students are eager to learn and grow each day that they enter our classroom!

My school has a small amount of technology that our K-5 building must share, which does not leave a large amount of time for reading projects or fluency practice. My students enjoy using technology to further their learning and have the most creative minds that I have seen!

My Project

We will use this iPad and protective case as part of our Daily 5 reading rotation. Students will be placed in groups of 5-6 and will use the iPad to listen to reading, record their independent reading, create book trailers, and other activities that relate to their reading.

Donations to this project will improve my classroom because it will show that my students and education are cared for and valued by adults.

We will finally be able to use creative technology to enhance our learning!
