My Students

How can we close the achievement gap when students do not have the necessary materials to succeed? As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.

Despite the many challenges they face, they come to school eager to learn and excited to try new things.

In my classroom, we are focusing on 21st-century learning and preparing for their bright futures! These students are driven and excited to learn new things and work together to create a life-long learning environment.

My Project

Technology is saturating today's culture, workforce, and society. Many of the careers our students will be entering are not even created yet. These iPads will play a crucial role in providing our students the opportunities and experiences needed to be prepared for tomorrow's challenges.

Our students need to be introduced and equipped with the knowledge and abilities needed to prepare them for their future careers.

These iPads will provide our students with engaging, hands on experience in coding, STEM, math, and more! The iPads we currently have are not compatible with the coding software and other apps that we currently use. Help us change that!
