My Students

I love the dedication and excitement that these young high school students bring to the medical field. As juniors in high school, they must plan ahead and even take summer school to be able to attend this program. Students enter this program their junior year of high school and begin a two year journey to becoming a licensed health professional. In addition, they learn employability skills and complex communication skills. This kind of commitment from these young students inspire me each and every day as their teacher. I am passionate about teaching and the impact that it has on our future medical professionals.

My Project

These young students are preparing for future professions in the medical field. This technology will allow them to document, research medical projects, apply knowledge, work in cooperative learning and individualized learning situations. It will also allow them to be socially distanced during this pandemic. Now, more than ever, it is apparent the global impact on the health care system and the health of our patients. This technology will allow them to access information immediately as it related to the effects of any medical information. This technology will help these students prepare for the future.
