This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Many of the students that I teach come from low-income families, who are struggling financially.

My school is a title 1 with a STEM focus.

My students face a lot of challenges when they are away from school. School is a time that my students enjoy coming to.

My students take several assessments that need a teacher to have updated technology.

As a teacher, I help my students effectively learn and development them into scholars.

Thank you for your support in making a successful school year. Each day is a new day and a wonderful experience with my children.

My Project

My project would benefit my scholars. Having modern technology in a classroom always is a plus. iPads would help boost our technology center and will benefit in student engagement. Having iPads available during our centers would give students a different approach to learn new tasks. I am requesting three iPads for students to use throughout the school day. Students will be able to use many different educational websites for reading, math, science and social studies. Students would also be able to complete letter activities as well to help their letter recognition skills that they need to become a better scholar.
