I would like to demonstrate my daily edits, journals, and personal writings as models and student presentations on a LCD projector and TV/VCR. These resources will be excellent for use with all my students in demonstrating writing techniques in an easy to use and accessible format for everyone in the class. My Creative Writing, as well as English I, students from Riverdale will be able to use this media tool in many ways. I will allow the students to come up and demonstrate a writing technique using this tool, correct a daily edit by adding any changes, respond to any prompts from their seats, and present their classroom internet/research projects. A TV and VCR will be very helpful in providing an output for showing movies of books read in class and for use with the LCD. I teach English which involves teaching reading, the rules of writing, and research. Therefore, I must be able to teach a variety of students through a variety of techniques. Through this LCD projector, I will be able to illustrate the concepts of research and computer technology and allow for them to express themselves as well through this valuable tool. These tools will benefit these students in so many powerful ways. I find that technology enhances any classroom.
