Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Technology is the way of the world today. The vast majority of people use some type of technology on a daily basis. Most students can navigate all types of technology better than their parents and teachers.
The students that I will be working with are intervention students that have fallen behind their peer counterparts academically.
They need extra repetition and practice with skills in order to fully understand the concepts. These students need the opportunity to expand their knowledge with materials other than books, paper, and pencils.
My Project
I am requesting 3 HP Slate 7 inch tablets. This project is part two of my attempt to get technology to work with my intervention students. If both grants are fully funded each student in each group that I meet with throughout the day will have their own tablet to work on. With the tablets I will be able to differentiate for all my students in each group.
This project is important to me because I want the opportunity to offer my students practice in a fun and exciting way.
These tablets will allow me to do just that! Your donation will impact many students across several grade levels.
