This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have a vibrant group of kindergartners who are excited about the upcoming school year. My school is a Title I school and the majority of the students receive free or reduced rate lunch. I would love for my students to have a year to remember and have materials available to them to assist in their exploration of learning new things. Kindergarten is a vital part of a child's education and with the proper teaching and materials students can flourish.

My Project

In a world that is filled with technology my early childhood students need to get a head start in becoming tech savvy. What better way to introduce technology than through learning experiences. The Apple iPads will allow my students the opportunity to work on educational Reading and Math apps during class time. They will have the opportunity to increase their knowledge of the objectives being taught as well as apply the use of technology to assist them inside the classroom and in the real world situations. They are excited about the opportunity to have hands-on experience with technology right at their fingertips!
