My Students
My ELL students are from all around the world! The majority of my students speak Arabic, Bulgarian, and Spanish, but I also have students who speak Russian, Indonesian, Polish, Nepali, and Turkish.
They love to read and learn.
My ELL students are mostly intermediate to advanced English learners, so they are learning academic English. They deserve to have equal access to technology so that they can succeed and grow as learners. They are motivated to learn when they have access to technology!
My Project
It will be amazing to have 2 Chromebooks in my classroom that are always available for student learning. This will help me to differentiate my lessons as well as give my students valuable practice using technology. Every year our students take an ACCESS for ELLs English proficiency test, and this year our district is giving it all online. My students need to practice using technology before they take this test, so that they can do their best.
Access to technology will make a big difference in helping my students achieve meeting their language goals.
Many of my students are advanced language learners, but they need the extra support to help them be successful in their classrooms. Access to technology will help them succeed!
