My Students

My debate team needs a computer they can use to research issues and prepare for tournaments. Currently my students have to do research at home if they have a computer, which many of them don't.

My debate students are dedicated and hardworking 4th and 5th graders.

They enjoy reading and doing research. They love to use my computer to find information and images for projects. They would truly appreciate a portable computer that they could take to debate tournaments and use during practices.

My Project

The netbook will help my students to research topics, type documents, and create schedules for their debate tournaments. During practices students will be able to look up information, read about current events, and type notes for presentations. The netbook will also be a chance for my students to practice using technology.

The netbook is important because it will give my students a competitive edge.

They will have technology on their side and it will help them to build confidence while researching their topics.
