We need an IPAD PRO and pencil to document our events through a podcast to share with the community and other students throughout the country.

Camron and Sierra are leading a group of students in this project that connects the community and our school while exposing students to valuable lifetime experiences. Camron and Sierra are leaders by example, demonstrating leadership, commitment, determination and great technology skill sets. They have the ability to communicate the projects' needs to all involved, the community, staff, students and media. Camron and Sierra sat with the leadership cohort and selected the items they needed most for community events. They really need an IPAD Pro and pencil to document events through a pod cast that will be posted on the groups web page and FB page.
The Chowhounds distribute free pet food, free pet wellness exams, free neutering and serve as a resource for all pet needs.
The students will be able to share with other students throughout the country and community members information on pet care, how neutering a pet helps communities, and podcast when students are assisting veterinarian in surgeries, so many others can benefit from the experience.
All the skills involved with this project will prepare students for college and careers.
We want to podcast our experiences so that other communities and students may benefit from our same experiences. We want to demonstrate how neutering community pets keep down overpopulation, develop healthy lifestyles, keep down euthanasia rates and decrease the number of homeless and abused animals. By sharing this project through social media others could model this group and help their community and pets to maintain healthy, happy families and environment.
We, the students, will develop an outline to follow for our podcast, prior to airing. We will assure that key points are covered. We will use a rubric to aid in this process.Organization, technology skills, managing others, directing, mentoring younger students are all examples of leadership within this project. We will serve as role models to students within our building, and to the community. Airing this podcast on social media will allow others to model our project and observe and learn along with us.
This project builds a bond between our school and the community. This project has a direct impact on the environment within our city. By providing free neutering services we help decrease the number of homeless and abused animals within our city. We also aid in decreasing the number of animals placed in shelter where they may be euthanized. We have the privilege to assist veterinarians in the neutering surgeries, which gives us experience in an operating room.. By providing free pet food, we assist in financial burdens that may exist within a household. By developing a podcast, that will air through social media, will allow many others throughout the country, to benefit from our experiences and an opportunity to model our project for their community.
