My students are those who need a little extra help along the way. Working in a Resource room is a great privilege as I get to see my students shine in a different way from others. Every success is a big success no matter how small in our classroom. Not only do my students struggle with some sort of learning disability they are also students who attend a Title One school, meaning many families are considered to be in poverty. The classroom culture we create together is one that is a safe and loving environment and is not only for learning but for just being yourself and accepted. We learn together, play together and laugh together.
My Project
Having laptops in the classroom that students can use to access online learning will allow for blended learning to take place. Small groups can be setup so that I can better meet each students needs where they are at. Google classroom and other online resources will be used to incorporate the 4 C's that are vital to learning.
A personalized learning approach makes learning more successful and students will feel more accomplished and receiving instruction at the just right level.
Students will have fun getting to complete assignments online and learn important computer skills like typing, creating, research, work processing and most of all learning!
