Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students of Detroit Public School Community District have a thirst for knowledge that carries them through their daily lives. They love to read and research different topics and have an unwavering spirit with all of the disparity that they deal with.

My Project

Having access to technology will support a higher level of education for our special needs students whether they are using them in school or being allowed to check them out for daily projects to be completed. The laptops will allow students to seek out information they need to not only complete assignments but also to research topics they are interested in.

Easing the burden for access to technology will allow rapid growth for our students to become lifelong learners.

Having this access will be paramount to their growth educationally. We thank you for choosing to work with us.
