My class consists of thirty-one exceptional kiddos. What I love most about my kiddos is that they are always so caring of others.
One memorable moment was when my students began to show how much they care about their school.
I try to teach students to make a difference in this world, so I will often pick up trash on campus. One day, the dumpster was overfilled and discarded student papers had blown out, which ended up strewn across our field. When we went to recess, I saw the trash and said, "Oh my stars!" Many of my students knew that trash on the ground really bothers me, so they moved into action and scrambled to pick up every single piece of paper. Amazing kids!
I recently transferred to a very small elementary school. Since it is so small, we have a very limited budget for technology. I have been using an interactive white board for ten years at another school, so I have a great deal of interactive lessons, activities and other academic resources created for an interactive whiteboard. However, there is no interactive whiteboard at my current school site. This project will provide us with an interactive whiteboard system at a fantastic price, which would help my students to have access and to utilize more technology in the classroom. Our current math and language arts curriculum have many digital components; however, without an interactive whiteboard, many aspects of these two curriculums are not used. By financially supporting this project, you would be helping to make our daily lessons more interactive and engaging and for that we would be grateful.
