My Students
Our school teaches students from pres-school to sixth grade. We recently have updated our technology program so that we are one-to-one. My students range from Kindergarten to sixth grade and we focus on learning basic technology skills up to preparing to move to the high school and eventually on to higher education. We try to use a variety of technology outside of our classroom computers to give students a well-rounded approach to the future! My students are so excited to use the new technology that I have in my classroom this year!
My Project
My students have varying ages and technological skill levels, but they all love playing with new gadgets. I recently had a classroom set of iPod touches donated to my classroom, but it is hard to keep them charged with only 8 charging cables and not enough ports to plug them in. My students also love being able to listen to their devices. The headphones in my classroom are starting to be non-functioning, they are not always student friendly, and we also don't have enough for all the students to use. These new headphones will allow us to have headphones that are sturdy, kid-friendly, and will allow all students to have a pair to use during class. We can use these headphones with multiple types of devices in my classroom!
