Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school serves a low income population of students with 90% of the families qualifying for free or reduced lunch. Our school is a Title I school with a large number of English Language Learners.

My class is made up of 100% English Language Learners.

They are eager and enthusiastic learners with diverse cultural backgrounds.

We are a class where many receive intervention and one student receives services for special needs. So with so many learning modalities, the Epson Projector and Chromebooks will help meet their needs.

My Project

Many fo my students don't have access to technology at home. With the Asus Chromebooks more of my students will have the opportunity to use technology in the classroom. During Language Arts and Math time the students will be exposed to many educational websites where they will be able to practice learned skills ad be able to do research projects. Additionally, the Epson LCD projector will provide visual aids such as educational videos, online articles, and teacher modeling that my students need.

This project will provide tools in which my students will be able to access 21st century skills.

Every student deserves the same experiences regardless of their economic status.
