This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My classroom consists of 22 of the most amazing students you could ever meet. They truly love learning and are so excited to learn new things every day! Our school is a Title I school located in a high-poverty area. Many of my students come from unfortunate circumstances but we do not let that stand in our way. I plan every day to make sure my students, learn, have fun, show kindness, apply leadership skills, and have access to technology.

I have high expectations for all of my students, despite their socioeconomic status.

I want each and everyone of them to reach their highest potential regardless of what obstacles they may face. They deserve the very best.

My Project

Adding a Chromebook to our classroom will help my students have more access to individualized learning through technology. Each student is different and has individual and specific needs. We are able to close learning gaps by providing programs that are geared toward each child. Unfortunately our access to technology is limited.

Technology makes learning fun and engaging!

My students love learning through technology. The Chromebook will allow more students adequate time to be engaged in fun learning activities that will help them grow to reach their full potential. Please help us close these learning gaps so all of my students can succeed!
