My Students

I teach 50 amazing and academically gifted elementary scholars. They enter my classroom with big smiles, are happy, and ready to learn. Many students that come to our school do not speak English. We also have exceptional students included in our class.

We are a Global Magnet Title I school serving 65% low-income families who speak limited English.

We offer Mandarin Chinese and Spanish to our students. Our school also serves parents who work multiple jobs to help make ends meet.

My Project

I want a program that engages students in all their learning. The IXL online program is differentiated for all types of learners. This program gives teachers and parents a great tool for increasing their learning. Students will use this program at school and at home for all subjects. It provides recommended activities for students who may be having trouble with any skills. It also provides certificates to each student for their learning.

Students will have the opportunity to watch their learning grow by completing activities for at least 20 minutes a day.
