My students need Samsung Galaxy Tablets to access programs and apps that will help them improve their individual math levels to proficiency, as they build confidence in their abilities to learn new and challenging concepts.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing! They come in every morning ready to learn and we are learning and growing every day! Third grade is an exciting year of new experiences and hard obstacles. Our students face many challenges, both in and outside of school. We are learning how to work hard and persevere.
Our students are our future.
My goal is to prepare them for success both in academics and life. Our school and community have experienced a recent growth in population. This has directly affected our ability to keep up and provide resources needed in the classroom. I am passionate about teaching kids. I am committed to finding ways to meet the needs of each and every student in order to give them the best opportunity to find success.
My Project
These tablets will result in approximately 4 hours of use per day. They will be placed in our daily math station rotation. Each student will work on their own differentiated math skills set. This technology will allow each student to meet and exceed their personal math fluency goals by using school-funded apps that allow them to track their progress data.
These tablets will be used by inspiring young scientists, mathematicians, and altogether just amazing young people.
They will also be used to give students independence in researching science projects, allowing them to find answers to questions from curious minds.
