My students need an iPad which I can use to demonstrate. The students have tablets, but I do not and it is needed to help students see how to navigate through sites.
I teach at 7 schools and see approximately 325 students. 100% of my students receive assistance with breakfast and lunches. A high percentage of my students are living without technology at home and resources for learning. My 325 curious and energetic Kindergarten, first, and second graders need your help with resources for learning.
My students are young, potentially gifted students who love a challenge.
They want more experiences, difficult tasks, and a classroom where they can try, fail, and try again.
My Project
My students have tablets, but I do not. An iPad is needed to be able to demonstrate for them, help them visually see the steps in getting to a site, show them how to present ideas, and present which tools they may use to show their learning.
I need an iPad to model how learning will take place for my students.
In many of the setting where I teach there isn't even a white board. This iPad will help my students to understand better and navigate their learning visually. They will be able to see their learning activities displayed for all. This command center will give them a place to send their ideas, record their answers, join a digital community, and show their learning in new and different ways.
