Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Oh the places my scholars will go! Oh the places my scholars will go! My scholars face challenges like coming to a new country, learning a new language and adapting to a different culture. My learners are not defined by their circumstances but by the love that flows through their hearts and the eagerness that embodies their every action whether it's learning about letters or exploring our school garden. My scholars are off to great places! Everyday is their day! Their mountain of learning is waiting! My scholars are off to their learning way!
My scholars won't lag behind, because they have the learning speed.

In my classroom, my learners are introduced to Eric Carle and Dr. Seuss and to a world they've never even imagined. I want to guide my scholars to excel in school and in life.

My Project
My learners need laptops to increase their literacy and math readiness. It is very important to me that they use technology at school in an instructional format to supplement what they are already learning in the classroom. In Pre-K , my learners are learning as they play. The laptops will be used during small group time and also during center time. The laptops will also help my scholars meet their weekly istation goals.
My goal is for 1:1 laptop to student ratio in our classroom because my learners are growing up in a society that revolves around technology.
I currently don't have enough laptops in the classroom so we rotate them in different centers and in small groups. If each of my learners had a laptop my learners wouldn't have to transition to the computer lab that is shared with almost 600 students.
