My Students

Our school requires students to use technology throughout the day. Our classroom does not have enough devices for each student to use within a school day. My students need opportunities to enrich their education. Since we are a Title 1 school, we lack the funds for every student to have some type of device: iPad, computer, tablet, etc...My students love getting to do hands-on learning! I want to increase the amount of devices in my classroom to allow every student ample amount of time using technology to not only enrich their learning but to complete assignments required by our district.

My Project

The Chromebook will allow students to explore, create, and learn through the use of technology. Students will have an opportunity to use programs throughout the day that will enrich and offer remediation to skills and topics taught within the classroom. Technology is in the forefront of education. My students lack the resources to have ample amount of time to use technology within the classroom. Since our school is a Title 1 school, these students do not have access to technology or internet at home. I want to offer an environment where students utilize technology independently within a school day. This project will allow technology to be in the forefront.
