My Students

My students are a group of exceptional learners in an inner city district. They come from culturally diverse backgrounds and benefit from hands-on experiences with instruction. Funding isn’t always the easiest thing to acquire, so many times teachers are left to purchase items deemed essential for their students. Donations would help these students get the materials they need to further their educational careers and promote success throughout the community. This is truly a group of amazing children that deserve any and all the best materials.

My Project

These materials will make a huge difference for the students at P. Middle School. Not only will it impact my classroom, but all the classrooms on my team. We are hoping to get enough Chromebooks donated so that every student will have access to a Chromebook when needed. I recently received 7 Chromebooks through DonorsChoose.org and it has already made a world of difference in their learning.

By bringing technology into the classroom, we are ensuring that our students are motivated, engaged, and learning essential skills that are required to be successful in the real world.

We are able to utilize incredible programs such as Khan Academy and IXL on a regular basis.
