My Students

I teach in an large low income urban school with a large bilingual Spanish and Arabic population. We are very limited with our technology. Many of our programs require technology so students can implement the skills being taught.

It would be great if all students could have their own tablet to work on instead of having them rotate on the 4 outdated computers I have in my room.

Not all students can go on the programs on a daily basis.

I have a large amount of Spanish bilingual students. Having technology will aide my students by providing visuals that will help them develop the English language vocabulary and concepts.

My Project

Technology is essential to the learning environment. Technology will make a difference in my classroom because it will allow my students to explore the curriculum in a fun and engaging way. Technology can support and enhance learning through different learning styles to reach all types of learners.

As the world is becoming more technologically savvy, it is important to prepare our students for their future education and future career.

Opening their eyes to what the tablets have to offer will motivate the students to want to learn and explore different fields of practice.

This technology will be used to enrich student learning as well as provide them with remediation and extra practice. They will be able to explore many of the on line learning sites available to further their education.
