My students are full of personality. They are each very unique. My students are motivated and work very hard to accomplish personal and academic goals. They are still learning to build relationships and working hard to learn what it means to be a productive member of today's society. Many come from low economic status households. My students are excited about learning. They are eager to ask and answer questions pertaining to learning material. They are willing to lend a helping hand to one another. I believe in my students and want them to all have the tools they need to be successful learners.
My Project
Technology is becoming a bigger part of the classroom environment. There are so many opportunities that we get to use Chromebooks in our day-to-day assignments, but we all know how frustrating technology can be. We are very grateful for our Chromebooks! However, they are several years old and the touchpad is almost useless on most of them. This makes it very frustrating for the students.
Please help make the use of technology in our classroom an enjoyable experience.
With a classroom set of computer mice, my students will be able to maneuver through their Google assignments with ease. Not only will it be easier, but they will also be able to do things with the computer mouse that is impossible with a touchpad.
My students are hard workers and love to work with technology. Having a computer mouse for each of them would make their learning more fulfilling and beneficial.
